The Godwin girls basketball team is now 3-1 taking out Grand Rapids Ottawa Hills 72-57. It was one exciting game with Godwin's Jakaya Lay scoring a career high 32 points! She was a beast down low; unstoppable. Lanaja Polk-Craig scored a career high 17 while Lashay Lee and Diamond Johnson both added 9 each. The girls are playing well together and I am excited to see what the season brings. The next game will be Monday away against Muskegon Heights @ 715. Come out and support your lady Wolverines!
